SIMON HOARE

I am passionate about helping and assisting clients on a partnership basis. I believe strongly in the value individuals can add to organisations and enjoy engaging individuals to help them grow and develop. I combine my experience and knowledge of Industrial/Organisational and Occupational Psychology with various coaching models to deliver an integrated coaching service. This has led me to become the founder of www.eloomanate.com a holistic people development organisation with the vision and purpose to help others be the best they can be.

I am a registered Occupational and Organisational Psychologist with the HPC-UK (Health Professions Council) and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I have also been registered as a Psychometrist with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of SA) since 1992. I am an associate member of the Society for Industrial/Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA) and a committee member of the Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA). I attend events hosted by the South African Organisational Development Network (SAODN). I have a graduate diploma in coaching from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP), and have over 15 years’ experience in HR consulting roles.

I have worked for a niche HR consultancy for eight years, initially as a project manager in Research and Development and focusing on both internal products and those tailored for clients. I then became a Principal Consultant, managing and delivering assessment and development projects for international companies in the oil and gas, financial and service industries. Working with multi-disciplinary teams, I delivered on projects in the UK, Malaysia, Dubai, Sudan, India, South Africa and Hong Kong.

Prior to this I worked for SHL (Saville & Holdsworth) UK Ltd within Psychometric Research and Development for over three years, undertaking a variety of assessment validation studies for clients as well as the design and development of various psychometric instruments. This included writing expert report systems for OPQ32 (Occupational Personality Questionnaire) and refining Career Pathfinder ready for the market.

I am currently also a Principal Consultant for Top Talent Solutions (TTS), an independent consultancy which uses a variety of assessment, selection and measurement instruments, and am licensed to clients in various assessment products.
